Geog club LAST meeting: 11/19 @5pm


Hello all!

Happy Geography Awareness Week (Nov. 15th-21st)

GEOG Club LAST MEETING of the quarter:

Thursday Nov. 19th,
5-6pm,
Bunche Hall 1221-B.

We will be discussing and organizing our "Eat your way through L.A."
Cultural Fieldtrip that will take place on Sat. Nov. 21st at 9 am- 6pm and we
will have a special Guest Speaker, Prof. William Selby from Santa Monica
College, who created it. Prof. Selby will also give a talk referring to the
Geography Awareness Week

"Physical and Human Geographers as Local and Global Citizens"

Are today's geographers gaining the knowledge required to lead their local
communities and the world toward a brighter future? What are some practical
ways we can apply our skills to improve the quality of our living and working
environments? From habitat restoration to researching the most culturally
diverse communities in the world, we are making and must make more positive
ripples.

Pizza will be served. Please join us!
