Submit an Abstract for the AAG Annual Meeting

Submit your abstract today for the annual conference of the Association of American Geographers to be held in Washington, D.C., April 14-18, 2010. The deadline to submit abstracts is October 28, 2009. Anyone interested in presenting a paper, poster, interactive short paper, or illustrated paper should:

* Read the presentation guidelines
* Register for the conference

* Submit an abstract

How to Submit an Abstract

* Log-in to the AAG site using your AAG ID.
* Click the “Submit/Edit Abstracts & Sessions for 2010 Annual Meeting” link.
* Click on the “New Abstract” button and follow the directions to complete the online form.
o You will receive an e-mail message to confirm your abstract was submitted, and a Program Identification Number (PIN). If you are participating in an organized session, please forward your PIN to your session organizer(s).
o To view sessions and abstracts that have already been proposed, please click here.

About the Annual Meeting

In addition to many scholarly presentation, the 2010 meeting will feature opportunities for interactions with government agencies and will include keynote speakers from nonprofit groups and other influential nongovernmental organizations located in the nation's capital. The District of Columbia is home to 174 foreign embassies, many high profile NGOs, and numerous universities.
