Location, location, location. Geography is the study of Earth and the relevance of space and location. How does the location of a person/object/phenomenon affect another person/object/phenomenon? Geography spans dozens of disciplines in both the natural and social sciences. Here at UCLA, geographers delve into earth science, biology, environmental science, politics, economics, cultural studies, urban studies, and much more. Using modern spatial analysis methods, such as Geographic Information Systems (GIS), today's geographers are helping to solve real-world problems in both local and global settings.
Interested in meeting and networking with other geographers? Wanna meet professors and TAs in a more personal environment? Curious as to what the heck one could possibly do with a degree in Geography?
