Winter Quarter 1st Meeting

Hey Geography majors/minors!

The UCLA Geography Association will be holding its first meeting of winter quarter next Tuesday. PhD student and TA Vena Chu will be speaking about her research on hydrology and climate change in Greenland as well as graduate school in general. Vena is a TA for many of the GIS/Remote Sensing classes. This is a great opportunity to get to know her outside of the classroom environment.

Tuesday 1/25
3pm - 4pm
Bunche 1221B

We have some interesting events planned for the quarter, including a special Career Center tour/presentation geared specifically toward Geography majors. We're also working on a special tour of the Map Library and Cartographic Resources over at Young Research Library. More details to come.

If you have a particular suggestion for a meeting, we'd love to hear it! Please email us at la.bruin.geog.club@gmail.com
